James is responsible for communication channels within the club and with the London region committee and for the smooth running of the club and to liaise with other committee members.
Secretary: Gillian Sanders
Gillian arranges club meetings, the club’s AGM, takes minutes at meetings and is responsible for administrative tasks on behalf of the club.
Head Coach: James Beckinsale
James is founder of our club and is responsible for the club’s coaching sessions and ensuring that coaching within the club are a kept to the highest of standards. James works with the assistant coaches in the preparation and running of each session, assists in the selection of teams and focus is on bringing the best out of each athlete.
Assistant Coach: Archie St Aubyn
The Assistant Coach(s) are responsible for assisting with the club’s coaching sessions. They work with James in the preparation and running of each session.

Treasurer: Andy Hindley
Andy is the treasurer for the club Committee responsible for recording financials and for making financial decisions on behalf of the committee. He is also responsible for tracking membership payments.
Health and Safety Officer: John Doyle
John is responsible for keeping the committee informed in this area, carrying out risk assessments, preparing health and safety strategies and developing policy and keeping up to date with new legislation.
Webmaster: Chris Owens & Bea Chapman
We are responsible for developing/maintaining the club website.
Optima Aquathlon Co-ordinator: Steve McCann
Steve is responsible for the planning, coordination and smooth running of the club’s race/ race series.
Facilities Manager: John Doyle
John is responsible for the club’s facilities including management of Optima Training Centre, managing facility hire, etc.
Team co-ordinator for the London League: John Doyle
John is responsible for coordinating attendance, registration and travel/accommodation of the club at “club races”. Club races are National relays, London region races and any other races agreed by the committee.
Membership Secretary: Julie Patterson
Julie is responsible for managing all memberships.
Social Secretary & Race Report Co-ordinator: Bea Chapman
Bea is responsible for organizing our social calendar for the year including our end of season club dinner. She also collects race reports and photos from members for publication here.
Team Kit Co-ordinator: Claire Kent
Team Safeguarding Officer: Steve McCann
Steve is the person who has responsibility for ensuring the safeguarding policy is adhered to.
