Betsy Griffiths represented Triathlon Club Châteauroux Métropole 36 at the latest round of the French Grand Prix Division 1 in Vichy, racing in a highly competitive field of 80 athletes.

She got her race off to a strong start with a solid pontoon-start swim on the out-and-back course, putting herself in a good position heading onto the technical bike course. Working well within her group, Betsy bridged up to the big chase pack.

With the heat making the run challenging, Betsy ran to finish 39th overall and was the third scoring athlete for Châteauroux, contributing valuable points to the team’s overall result.
